# Practical Snag List – Interior Project Closure Pack

A snag list (punch/defect list) is prepared near the end of a project and records issues or incomplete work that must be fixed before handover. Use this pack to avoid endless post‑handover complaints, payment delays, and scope fights.

## Template Fields (fill at the top)
- Project Name, Client Name, Project Location
- Site Inspection Date, Prepared By, Project Stage (e.g., 95% complete – pre‑handover)

## How to Use
1) Walk the site at 80–90% completion and record issues per room/area
2) Set Priority (High/Medium/Low) based on usability/aesthetics impact
3) Assign to responsible vendor/labour
4) Set Status: Not Started / In Progress / Completed / Rejected
5) Add Remarks/Deadline and attach photos/links if needed
6) Update during each walkthrough until 100% resolution and sign‑off

## Why Snag List is Critical
1. Ensures Project Completion Quality – fix minor defects before handover
2. Professional Final Touch – builds client trust and credibility
3. Avoids Last‑Minute Disputes – proactive list prevents misunderstandings
4. Locks Scope at Handover – signed list freezes scope of work
5. Improves Client Satisfaction – visible, systematic closure
6. Reduces Payment Delays – proves what’s done and what’s pending
7. Builds a Scalable Process – repeatable closure system across projects

## Important Reminder
Conduct a pre‑handover inspection at 80–90% completion. It gives time to fix the list before the final handover—no surprises, no last‑minute complaints, no delays in final payment. Keep the inspection collaborative, not confrontational.
